BIOGRAPHY
She is a painter who doesn't adhere to a single style. Nor does she focus on a single theme. She is a painter passionate about painting and who has always sought to explore her own satisfaction. Throughout all these years, she hasn't cared about pleasing public opinion or conforming to the demands of particular tastes. Her painting is authentic, personal, and true. It comes from within her. She doesn't try to make the viewer see anything more than what she shows.
She doesn't want the viewer to be distracted by searching for hidden codes or symbols. Her painting is sincere. What is shown is what it is. Even in her more socially conscious works, the viewer's agitation and emotional response arise naturally, without any need to induce any concept other than that which emanates from the very spontaneity of the act of viewing.
In her farewell exhibition as an artist, she has chosen to display a selection of her paintings arranged chronologically, yet thematically, allowing viewers to appreciate the evolution of her treatment of scenes, seascapes, portraits, landscapes, and abstract art throughout her years as a painter.
The distinct treatment of colors, light, depth, and surfaces has always been a constant in her work.
Intensity driven by passion. Vibrant colors.
Glimmers that illuminate without dazzling. Free expression, bringing warmth and life to the sensitive and observant soul.
Her painting is meant to please. And her achievement is getting us to say, "I like it."
